The Verulamian RFC launched a
mini/junior section known as the Chariots in September 2005. The
section has prospered under a dedicated team of coaches and helpers,
and now provides coaching and games to children in a safe and fun
environment. The club recently gained the RFU Seal of Approval, and is
growing each year.
Training and matches takes place on Sundays at 10am-midday for all, and on Thursday evenings from 7 to 8.30pm for the Junior Boys (Under 13's upwards).

The 2009/10 season kicks off with a
registration day at 10am on Sunday 5th September.
New members are welcome at all age groups. If you’ve never played, we don’t charge new members for the first three sessions (i.e.until you’ve made up your mind to stay) so why not give it a try!

The 2009/10 season ended with an
awards day that looked back on another season of growth and
achievement.
Our Under 7’s reached the final of the county plate competition, beating OA’s ‘C’ in the semi before just losing out to OA’s ‘B’ side in final. All did really well, especially when considering that half the side are still Under 6!
Our Under 14 side is growing into a nice team and will be the first Verulamian Junior side to enter the league structure.
We wish them well for the 2010/11 season.
Our U15’s and U16’s have struggled for numbers but nevertheless played some games as a joint side and really shown determination against the odds. An informal partnership with Stevenage has proved useful in allowing both sides to compete against clubs with stronger numbers.

In June 2010 there was a fun day
which was enjoyed by all (except those catering to meet the demands of
the BBQueue!). Many thanks to Paul and Katie for organising the bouncy
castle etc.
